Enjoying the Challenges

Yesterday I got some happy mail. Two of my projects were accepted for the publication in the Paper Crafts Magazine. Today I was playing around with my supplies and warming up for another submission call. I used several Challenges to create today’s projects.
IMG_8888 IMG_8895This one is inspired by the colors from Runway Inspired Challenge, and the sketch I took from the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge.
And here is my second card. I played with some Spellbinders Dies, some ribbon, Want 2 Scrap Pearls and stamps.

Time for some special wedding cards

Yes, it is that time again. I have some orders for wedding cards and I have decided to share some of them with you. For this one I used some ivory paper, ivory ribbon (and made a big butterfly with it), brown Want 2 Scrap bling, Spellbinders Dies and Flourishes stamp.

Enjoying the Challenges

Hello, hello! Here I am again. I was relaxing and made two projects. So, let me start with the first one. A decorated notebook. I used just one layer of paper, some inks and Hero arts stamps. The Spellbinders Tag is empty for the owner to write a name or something else. I love how bright it ended up. It is inspired by CASE Study Challenge and Hero Arts Challenge.
IMG_8690 IMG_8693And my second project is a clean and simple crazy fancy schmancy card. 🙂
IMG_8671This one is inspired by the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger (I took the colors), CAS(e) this sketch and CAS-ual Fridays.

Finally here

Hello! I am finally here! 🙂 These days I had so much work and was often out of the home that I just had the time to finish some of my Paper Crafts Magazine Submission projects. But, today I made this card with a help from several different challenges (see the links at the bottom of the post).

White Doilies

Hello there! Yesterday I had some time to make this card and a matching box. Actually, I could not sleep for some reason so I made this. It was not easy and a lot of things I had to do twice, but at the end I was satisfied with it. I used Waltzingmouse challenge as my main inspiration when it comes to the theme – doilies.
Image(3)_thumb[2]I like doilies a lot, and lace too. 🙂 I decided to stamp with Watermark Ink so that my details would be subdued. I used Dainty Doilies set (on the bottom of the box, and another piece on the My Mind’s Eye paper) and a piece of Ornate Ornaments set (on the leaves).
The color inspiration came from the Simon Says Stamp Challenge. It was quite fun to create a project that is completely white. I also used a bunch of Spellbinders Dies, and some Want 2 Scrap bling.
IMG_2467 IMG_2483 IMG_2495Well, I hope you like my project. Thank you for visiting and for all the lovely comments.

Masquerade

These days we have a lot of carnivals all around our country and I thing not only the kids enjoy it. I am not a grat fan of it but since recently I visited a kids’ home near our city, they asked me to prepare a workshop for kids related to the masquerade. So, lookin gat my Spellbinders Dies I realized we could have a lot of fun making masks. I lost the photo of the first mask I have made and left at the kids’ home, so I decided to make another one.

IMG_2304It took me some time to shake off the idea of making something inspired with a peacock, so I finally decided to use this Waltzingmouse challenge as an inspiration. I stamped this cute little stamp in several different colors and used Want 2 Scrap blings. I love them since, as you can see on my project, you can use every single stone. Nothing is waisted. I had some leftovers from my previous projects where I used the parts of those blings, and decided to use the rest of it for my mask.

All white with a bit of grey

Yesterday I finally made a card. Somehow these days I do not make a lot of cards and I feel like my ideas are all gone. A lot of changes are happening in my life and maybe I am just trying to survive it all. I know that in one of my recent posts I wrote how I will make a card for the Spellbinders contest at the very end, but today I changed my mind. I was relaxing yesterday and made this white card with just a bit of grey colors. These are the Spellbinders products I have used: Scalloped Circles Large, Foliage, Labels 11 and M-bossabilities folder.
IMG_5933 IMG_5960 IMG_5977 IMG_5991I also used some of my new sentiments in Croatian language. These years I used mostly simple Croatian sentiments and I believe that it is time for some change. The second stamp set I showed recently had some text dividers and the third set that I will show today has some big and complex sentiments (for this card I have used a part of the fourth set too). I played a bit more with them to show you some of the things you can make with them.
IMG_6008druga serijaAWell I hope you like the card and this new stamp set in Croatian language. Thank you for stopping by today.

The card is linked at the following challenges: Crafty Friends and Spellbinders Contest.

Best Wishes

Yesterday before I wend to bed I received a nice email from Susan Opel and Paper Crafts Magazine Team. They liked a set of cards I have made. While I was hoping and waiting for that email, I made this CAS card. I really enjoyed making it since I used a couple of inks and colored the paper with them. Then I used a darker blue ink to stamp the snowflakes.

After the weekend/Nakon vikenda

After the workshops I had during the weekend in West Gate Shopping City, I decided to share a photo and some cards with you. Well, we enjoyed every day we were there and I believe the kids had fun too. We were also selling cards for ‘The Traveler‘ organization. A big hit were liquid pearls that you can buy in Megacolor Shop in Zagreb. Kids just loved them. Everything was covered with pearls (the table too). 😉
The second day I had some time and I made these two projects. The first card is made on the basis of the Flourishes Sketch.
[Drugi dan sam imala malo više vremena pa sam završila ova dva projekta. Prvi je karta napravljena na temelju Flourishes nacrta.]

The second card goes together with a box instead of an envelope, and it is inspired by Embellish Challenge. [A druga karta ide zajedno s odgovarajućom kutijicom i inspirirana je Embellish izazovom.]

TCM Blog Hop

Hello people! Today is a big day for me. This is my last Blog Hop for The Craft’s Meow. It was such a great privilege for me to be a part of TCM team. Thank you all for a great time, all you ladies from the team and all of you who joined in the fun. Thank you once again for all the lovely comments and your support. You can still buy the stamps I have made for TCM and that way support the work of The Traveler organization. Today, I have the opportunity to show my new stamp set called ‘Hearth and Home’ and the card I have made for the Blog Hop.
The inspiration for the card I have found in these three challenges: Crafty Friends, Stampn’ Sisters in Christ and Ribbon Reel Challenge.
Now, I would recommend that you visit TCM blog for more informations about our guest designer, all the new stamps you can buy, and the prizes you can win. Your previous stop was Amy Wanford, and your next stop should be Gayatri Murali.
Thank you for stopping by today. Sending you hugs and kisses from Croatia!
