Crafting in the forest – Northern Velebit

Greetings, dear friends! Today I decided to share some photos of the Northern Velebit where we spent several days (at the beginning of this year). I never went there before, but the beauty of the nature just made me speechless. If you are one of those people who love to hike, Velebit is the place for you. If you just love to spend some time in the nature, and return home before dark, Velebit is also a place for you. This is also a National park and that means inside of the borders of the Park one can’t camp.
This trip does take some more time for preparation. If you decide to visit Velebit, you should take into consideration the weather, the roads and the peaks you want to visit, your group (everyone’s physical condition), and reservations one needs to make if you decide to sleep in one of those big houses.
IMG_1352IMG_1383If you are not very experienced it would be good to find a guide and organize a professional who will take care of your safety and organize a part of your trip. We had two survival instructors with us and that was the only reason I decided to go on this adventure. The weather over there is really rough and tricky. We arrived there during the night and we had to walk for several hours during the blizzard. It was a real adventure and without skilled guides it could have ended really bad. The rest of the days we had some nice weather and had the privilege to see some amazing places.
IMG_3285There is also a famous weather station on one of the peaks. It was fun to finally see all that since we heard about it so often when we were little (during every weather-forecast our parents watched).
IMG_3221IMG_3293And we even had the privilege to meet the man behind the scene – famous Ante (who for years now has been working there and has the best mix of herbs for tea I ever tasted).
IMG_3302Well, I hope you enjoyed your stay, and that one day maybe you will visit. ;)

Time Out Challenge #19

Greetings! As you maybe already know I had some very hard days (see more here). Among other things I demolished my craft corner, and the half of our place was under construction. Now, finally things are slowly getting back to normal. Trying to make a card for next Time Out challenge I realized that I was in the middle of a huge creative crisis. And also, my sewing machine got broken. It was not easy to get this card finished.
Anyway, I played a bit with heat embossing powder and some golden gel pen. It was fun and it made me want to create another one (that is a good sign if you are having a creative crisis). ;)
IMG_4245For this card I used Retro Sketch Challenge as an inspiration.
IMG_4243Now, let me see what you can make with our Time Out Challenge for the next two weeks. I am looking forward seeing your work. Have fun and visit the blog, check out the rules and be inspired by creations that the rest of the team made.

Moxie Fab World: Throwdown Challenge

Hello everyone! If, by any chance you were wondering where I am, now you will have the chance to see.
After we recovered (but not completely) from a cold, we really had to paint two rooms in the little house that we rent. The mold was killing me. This year we have just way too  much humidity in the air. Anyway, that work almost killed me. I worked for the first time with a paint pistol, and it was really fun (but really hard and my fingers and arms still hurt). Because of that I demolished (again) my craft corner. And, because of that I believe I am in the middle of PTSD having a sever creative crisis. So, here it is. My work space in the middle of a paint job.
IMG_4221The very first thought I have when I look at this photo is: “Where’s Wally?”
And ever since we finished with the painting, it still does not look much different. I need to take a pill and have some good (and by no means expensive) idea regarding how will I make, once again, my corner beautiful.
And yes, I actually linked THIS onto a Moxie Fab World: Throwdown Challenge. :)

Greetings! It is that time again! I can’t believe how fast time is flying. It was just several posts ago that I have created projects for Waltzingmouse PJ Party. Anyway, how I really enjoy this Challenge, I decided to create some projects again.
PAJAMA-PARTY-LOGOThis time I decided to make a card with a technique I wanted to try for some time now. It is a simple technique of ripping the paper. ;) But I love the look one gets with it. It looks like snow. All white and fluffy.
IMG_2186Well, I had fun! I hope you enjoyed it too. Thanks for stopping by.

Greetings! I am slowly getting into this routine. This is only the third time I am inviting you to join us at the Time Out Challenge blog, and that means I have still not went through the whole cycle of challenges. Today we have a fun challenge. There is a card to CASE so you better check out the blog and while you are there, have fun looking at all these beauties the rest of the team has made.
For this challenge I created a CAS card inspired by Autumn.
IMG_4176I have used this sweet little stamp from Waltzingmouse. I do not know why but I love those smallest stamps in theirs sets. Probably because I love making backgrounds and those stamps are just calling for it. :)
IMG_4170I also linked these cards at these Challenges: Waltzingmouse, CAS(E) this Sketch, and Virginia’s View Challenge.
