Our Challenge #46 is ready! Are you ready to join in? The inspirational photo is really beautiful and gives you a lot of freedom. The colours and the shapes are just gorgeous.
I decided to use black colour paper and transparent patterned paper that I recently bought in my local store. The papers are so sweet and they are just calling me to use them. π For each patterned paper there is the same transparent patterned paper. π Anyway, I believe now is the time to admit one thing to you. For several months now I am trying to get my sewing machine fixed. So far I did not manage to find a store that can do that. And to be honest with you, I realised I miss that thing so much that I do not have the joy for card making the way I used to have it. I really miss it and I know my cards would look quite different with some stitching on it. On Monday my hubby will visit one store and somehow I believe this is my last hope. I miss those lines on my cards so apparently I am trying to do something similar with my stapler. π
This time our guest designer is Sonja. Check out what she made and join us over at TO Challenge blog where you can see creations from the rest of the team.
I love all the details and layers and your color palette… The golden string adds a lot of festivity! π
I love this free and fun interpretation of the inspiration photo! And that patterned vellum is just fantastic. No doubt you couldn’t wait to use it. Crossing my fingers that you’ll get your sewing machine fixed soon. These days you so seldom find people who are really good at fixing machines. Most suggest you buy something new. Bummer!
Your card is so very pretty. I hope you can get your sewing machine fixed soon. I love the look of stitching on a card, but do not even have a machine.
Rich and luxurious, Elizabeta … such lovely layering … and that vellum is fabulous! Sorry to hear about your sewing machine … hope that your DH was able to find a repairer! Hugs, Anita π
